This year's Ashley G. ride will be our 10th adventure and our longest ride yet. We will start in San Francisco, CA (Golden Gate Bridge) on June 20th and arrive in Surfside Beach, SC on July 30th.

This 3150 mile ride will cover 11 states, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina, the 3 largest Mountain ranges in the lower 48, Sierra Nevada's, Rockies and the Appalachians and end at the Atlantic ocean in Surfside Beach SC.

Our group of riders will all take on different sections of the route. Steve Harmon, James' cousin from KC will do San Fran to KC 1800 miles with James. James will ride solo from KC to Greenville, TN. Then Joey McKelvey, DeMarko Lee, and Rick Gift will join James for the trek over the Appalachian Mountain range. In Charlotte, NC we will add a group of 9 more riders, in Florence SC 5 more riders will jump on board for the last leg of this historic ride.

Upon completion of the 2022 Golden Gate Ride the Ashley G. ride will have covered over 12,000 miles, 2 countries, 3 Mountain ranges, 4 time zones, 25 states, and more importantly raised thousands of dollars to aid families fighting for lives of their children struck by cancer.
